| The City of Berkeley Lake is undertaking a Comprehensive Plan update in accordance with Georgia Department of Community Affairs Standards and Procedures for Local Comprehensive Planning, as adopted in May 2005. The City adopted a Public Participation schedule and held public meetings to introduce the planning process and to gather community input on important issues and opportunities. A meeting to discuss a preliminary draft of the Berkeley Lake 2030 Comprehensive Plan will be held on June 19th at 6:30PM at Lake Berkeley Chapel, 4043 South Berkeley Lake Road. The City has previously held Overview, Vision & Goals, as well as Future Development meetings to gather public input. This next meeting will summarize the draft Implementation program of the Comprehensive Plan and outline possible goals and objectives to be accomplished over the next five years. Please make plans to attend!
