CITY COUNCIL MEETING - WORKING SESSION
MAY 20, 1999

Those in attendance for the Working Session of the Public Hearing/City Council meeting were as follows:

Mayor  Pro-Tem – Sherwin Levinson

Council Members: Anthony Arakawa, Kelly Goff, Tom Kitchens, Sherry Ruys

City Attorney – Dick Carothers

City Clerk - Anne Mayton

City Treasurer – Marcie Zielazienski

CITIZENS PRESENT: 4

The City Council meeting was brought to order by the Mayor Pro-Tem, Sherwin Levinson, at 4040 S. Berkeley Lake Road at 7:15 p.m. 

The sole purpose of this meeting was to work closely with Dr. Theresa Sipe and to finalize the survey regarding the possible Land Acquisition on Peachtree Industrial Blvd.

There was much discussion and many citizen comments. Each of the Council members read from their list of proposed changes and suggestions. Dr. Sipe incorporated all of these recommendations into the proposed survey. She promised to fax a copy of the revised survey to all Council members, Mayor Cooke, and City Attorney Carothers over the weekend. Then, she would make any additional changes required and take the survey to the printer.

Mr. Goff was to get the map printed.

Mrs. Zielazienski was to meet with the Post Office to determine the cost of each envelope and acquire postage.

Mrs. Mayton and Mrs. Zielazienski were to produce labels for the envelopes.

THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS, MRS. RUYS MOTIONED FOR ADJOURNMENT, MR. ARAKAWA SECONDED, AND THE VOTE FOR APROVAL WAS UNANIMOUS.
