The Berkeley Lake Conservancy (BLC) is the environmental planning group. They manage City-owned greenspace and recreation areas. The BLC also assists in applying for funds from federal, state, or local public or quasi-public agencies and to expend such funds as the Council may direct and authorize by resolution.

2009 committee members are Frances Winslow (Chair), Marilyn Bondon, Nick Lore, Marilyn Suriani and Pete Westafer.

The Council Liaison to the Committee is Rebecca Spitler.
