The City of Berkeley Lake is proud to announce that it was named '2006 Recycler of the Year' by Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful on January 5th, 2007.

The City of Berkeley Lake has been a designated a ' Tree City USA'  since 1999.

The City of Berkeley Lake is also designated  an 'Urban Wildlife Sanctuary'  by the Humane Society of the United States.
